POTTERY STUDIO (Youth and Adult Classes)
Looking for something fun and different to do? Join us for a pottery workshop or a one-day lesson: hand-built or electric wheel. Classes offered for youth and adults throughout the year. No experience required.

YOUTH POTTERY CLASS SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to the Bill Farrell Memorial Scholarship Fund, there is youth scholarship opportunities for ARC youth pottery classes. Contact Liz Larson for details.

The Squiggle Academy is a new Galena ARC art program for ages 2-5, along with their caregiver, to nurture creativity and the love of art. A place where little hands and big imaginations can flourish, where creativity has no boundaries and students can create with their peers!
​
Offering a creative environment for young artists ages 6-14 to explore new ideas, develop skills, and build self esteem through making and learning about art. Classes are offered throughout the school year as well as during the summer.

The Galena ARC offers art classes for the Tri-State area homeschool communities during the school year! Our classes build your student’s creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through visual arts education.

The club is free to members (grades 5-8) because of a generous grant from the Chicago Athenaeum. This is an independent study, art exploration club—there will not be scheduled lessons. Each student will work independently on long-term art projects of their choosing. There may be a couple of group community service project opportunities.
​
The ARC now offers cooking classes for youth as well as adults. Check back often as we will be listing new classes as they are developed.

YOUTH Painting Party: Bring your favorite people together to celebrate your birthday or other special occasion with a guided painting party at the Galena ARC!

ADULT / FAMILY Parties:
Choose from three party ideas: wood burning, wool needle felting (3D or 2D) or string art. Have a specific thing your group would like to learn? Contact Liz Larson, artdirector@galenaarc.org to discuss.
This mural will enhance the art experience at the Galena ARC and inspire students for years to come. Stop in and see it for yourself--it is amazing!
