Take the Cake Auction

Join community members and visitors for a cocktail and appetizers at 6:30 before the bidding starts at 7:00pm.

 

Each year local professional and non-professional bakers are asked to create sweet treat to be live auctioned off to the crowd of friends, family and neighbors. Every year there is a cake that pits mom against son, husband against wife or neighbors against each other for bragging rights as to who bought the best cake and helped support a vital organization in the Galena Community.

A few years back a ‘junior’ division was added to the event. The talent by our local bakers is amazing and every junior cake competes and often times beat the amount raised by professional bakers.
