Winter Weather Closing Guidelines

 

The only time the ARC will be closed due to winter weather conditions is when:

• Wind chills are -25°F or below.

• Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department has advised no travel.

This is for the safety of the children and the Galena ARC staff.

 

Closing notifications:

• We will post it on our website under Featured News.

• Facebook post will be created and shared to the ARC Facebook page. 

• Text message will be sent to all childcare program families.

 

All cancellations will be made before 6:00 a.m.
