Beginner Class
Hat Burning

Friday, December 13, 6-9pm

OR

Sunday, January 12, 1-4pm
Registration fee: $75 per person

Try your hand at burning a design into a felt hat of choice (Western, Fedora, or Flat-Brimmed) and embellishing it with a hat band, feathers, and some accessories. There are some templates and patterns or you could try freehand with the help of Marie. Registration fee includes instruction, tools needed, hat, hat band, and accessories.

Sunday, February 16, 1-4pm

Registration fee: $75 per person

This is a great class for first time carvers. You will be surprised and thrilled with the little bird you will create. This beginner’s wood carving class will teach you the basics of power carving (with small rotary tool) and the techniques on how break a subject down to make it simple. Students will have the option of leaving plain or decorate with a wood burning tool.
