Beginner Class
Bear (power) Woodcarving and Wood Burning

9:00am to 4:30pm with ½ hour lunch
(bring a sack lunch)
Registration fee: $95

Beginners power woodcarving and wood burning class. A simple and fun class for anyone wanting to learn carving and burning, yet challenging enough for anyone who has attended some of my previous classes. This will be a 3 ½ inch tall carving. I will do some roughing out of the bear, you will need to complete some details. We will be putting in glass eyes, texturing the fur with a special bit and detailing with a wood burner. All supplies and tool use included.

Double Peek A Hoo (power) Woodcarving & Wood Burning

Beginners power woodcarving and wood burning class. Create this adorable Peek A Hoo Owl carving that will make you smile every time you see it. I will rough out the Birch Tree and you will carve, and wood burn the details of the owl face. We will be adding the glass eyes to bring it to life. All supplies and tool use included.

Palm Cross in
Butternut Wood (power) Woodcarving

Carve and sand this beautiful Palm Cross from butternut wood that has a gorgeous grain. You will carve it to fit in the palm of your hand, sand it to a smooth finish and then apply walnut oil to give it a smooth finish. This cross is calming for prayer, relaxation or medication. All supplies and tool use included.
