JUNE CLASSES

AGES 8-14

Batik 2-Day Workshop
Thurs, June 12 + 13  |  1-4pm  |  $30**

Learn the art of Batik Fabric dyeing with this simplified, kid-friendly version of the traditional batik art technique, using glue as a resist to create designs on fabric and then dyeing the fabric.  Instructor: Liz Larson

AGES 8-14

Wet Felted Wool Vessel
Thurs, 19  |  1-4pm  |  $20**

Create a 3D container using the wet felting technique, where wool fibers are manipulated with water, soap, and friction to bond them into a dense, cohesive form. Instructor: Liz Larson

 

NOTE: Wet Wool Felting class will also be offered on Saturday, July 19 and open to ages 8-Adult. Fun for the whole family or just interested adults!

AGES 8-14

Tic Tac Toe Game
Thurs, June 26  |  1-4pm |  $20**

Create a unique Tic Tac Toe game board with a live edge wood slice, paint rocks as game pieces and then sew a bag to store the pieces! Instructor: Liz Larson

JULY CLASSES

AGES 8-Adult
Pottery Bird House

Thurs (2 classes)  |  1-4pm  |  $40**
​July 10 (build Houses)

    Skip a week for bisque fire

July 24 (Glaze Houses)

This class is for ages 8 to adult! Use slab building techniques to create your own 3D bird house then glaze with multiple fun colors for a truly unique piece. Fee includes instruction, clay, glazes and 2 instructor firings.

AGES 8-14

Alcohol Ink Abstracts
Thurs, July 17  |  1-4pm |  $20**

Learn how to manipulate alcohol inks to create vibrant, unpredictable, and abstract designs. You will make several and frame one. Instructor: Liz Larson

Family Class: AGES 8-Adult
